Welcome to the South East Region’s section of the website. The Region covers a very wide area including Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
I have been privileged to serve as the South East Councillor since September 2014; prior to that I was Regional Representative for District 14. Serving on Council is both fascinating and challenging but extremely worthwhile and my role in visiting societies is especially pleasurable. Individual members are particularly welcome and enjoy individual benefits including their own copies of the Regional Newsletters and the magazine NODA Today. I am priveleged to serve on the NODA Theatre Summer School Committee and strive to promote its activities wherever I go particluarly to encourage members to apply for bursaries where applicable.
Please check out the NODA web pages regularly, especially the committee page to see the Regional Representative that serves you within your district. Do invite them to your productions so that they can build up a positive relationship with your society and thus serve you better. You can always invite the Regional Councillor to join you as well. Regular newsletters are circulated to all societies which are meant to be shared with all members. The NODA South East Facebook page is a particularly good way of advertising your shows throughout the South East and all for FREE!
We currently have the region split into 14 roughly geographic regions for which each district is served by a Regional Representative:

Kay Rowan
Regional Councillor – South East
Kay has been involved in singing and amateur theatre since she performed in Aristophanes 'The Frogs' at school. She has been involved both on stage, backstage, in the orchestra, and on society committees for more years than she cares to remember. From Chairman to tea-lady, from Business Manager to cleaner there are very few society jobs she has not been involved in. Kay joined the NODA Council as Regional Councillor in 2014 having previously served as a regional rep. She relishes the opportunity that being on the Council gives her to serve the societies of the south-east.
